My Sweet Boys

While I had the neighbor's camera, I had to snap a few pics of my precious boys.
With all the snow that fell on Saturday night, we had a family day at home on Sunday. The boys love these relaxing days where we stay in our PJ's and play with daddy all day.

I wish I could catch Noah and Luke on camera when Leo walks in the door from work. Noah lets out this loud, high-pitched "Daaaaa!" Luke is right there with him as they both run and tackle him before he can even get in to the living room.

We are certainly not a perfect family, but I have to say that I've never felt so loved or fulfilled. Not a day goes by that I'm not reminded of how much our Father God loves and blessed us.

Springtime in Texas???

Wow...we just didn't know what to say when we woke up Sunday morning to 8 inches of snow!! It was the second day of Spring, but you sure wouldn't have known it by looking outside!

My camera is broken, but I borrowed the neighbor's because I simply could not believe this was the second "heavy" snow we had this year. Was it really last weekend that we built our garden and I had a sun burn?

Today it is 67 degrees and the snow is gone. Tomorrow it will reach 75. Spring time is sure to stay from here on out...at least we assume it will!

Noah's 1st Big Boy Hair Cut

Today we gave Noah his first hair cut! Daddy gave it to him and he was SO good! He just sat there nice and still the entire time.

I saved a lock of the hair in an envelope and will put it in Noah's box of "special things."

I just can't believe my baby boy is getting so big. It seems like just yesterday he was a born. Something in me just aches to see how fast he's growing. Where has the time gone? Noah is such a little boy now.

It is such a privilege to watch him grow everyday. Being his mom is the best thing I'll ever do.

Book Character Day at LAP

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, all the kids got to dress up as their favorite book character last week.

I didn't have a lot of time to plan, since I procrastinated, so we decided Luke would just wear the transformer costume that Granny and Gramps bought him for Christmas. He was THRILLED!!

Check out his tough boy stance and mean faces. He was seriously in super-hero mode on this morning!!

Crazy Hair Day at LAP

Last week Luke had a crazy hair day at school. I'm not actually sure what the reason behind it was...maybe a book or something...regardless, the kids had a LOT of fun with it.

I started by combing surfer putty in Luke's hair. I then sprayed it with hairspray and spiked it up.

When Luke was a baby, we spiked his hair all the time, but now he won't let me touch it. So, on this special day I had fun...and so did he!
